More than 100 years before St. John鈥檚 closed campus due to COVID-19, the college postponed the fall semester to protect students from the 1918 flu.
The Meem Library on the Santa Fe campus of St. John鈥檚 College first opened its doors on November 10, 1990鈥攁 full 26 years after the campus was founded. Since then, the library building has been a beloved place of sanctuary, study, insight, gathering, and friendship for hundreds of Johnnies.
This fall, Daryl Locke (A23) created an online shop, selling self-designed tote bags with his poetry printed on the back.
In summer 2020, St. John鈥檚 College launched the inaugural Pritzker Promise Bridge Program, which aims to prepare new Johnnies for St. John鈥檚 by helping them develop academic skills and study habits
